Darbyshire has been framing for Tracey Emin since 1993. Emin's aesthetic is simple and direct, and often involves every-day materials and found objects. She has been a prolific graphic artist, and has produced several hundred mono-prints and drawings, many of which have been framed Darbyshire.

'My Major Retrospective' at White Cube, 1992 was Emin's first solo show. The show consisted of many different elements, from drawings to a box of ashes to a series of small photos on canvas. It was the first presentation of Emin's Memorabilia work - treasured possessions displayed alongside hand-written texts accounting for their significance.

In keeping with Emin's everyday kind of aesthetic Darbyshire created a range of uncomplicated, simple frames and display boxes. Small, wall-mounted glass fronted vitrines were individually designed for the memorabilia. Drawing and texts were float-mounted. Natural Ramin timber was used through out.
