For Jake and Dinos Chapman's installation, ‘Works from the Chapman Family Album’ at White Cube in 2002 Darbyshire produced a series of plinths all varied in height and depth, sprayed black and some with matching perspex covers. For the exhibition the walls and ceiling of the gallery were painted black. Each plinth was dramatically lit from above and the sculptures appeared like gems in the dark gallery.
