The new Saatchi Gallery is in the Duke of York's Building, Chelsea. The galleries extend over five floors in this magnificent historical building. Darbyshire was charged with designing and fitting out the entrance area and the shop. They have incorporated innovate elegant shelving, storage solutions, including oversized perspex covers for the central display island. Darbyshire also designed and fabricated a discrete long bench in one of the foyer spaces and outsize frames for the inaugural exhibition.
