Darbyshire was asked to make a secure case with an industrial leaning for Calder jewellery to be exhibited alongside constellations, mobiles, ink drawings and gouaches. The display case needed lighting, easy but secure access and a linen lined interior. The piece was also required to flat pack.

Darbyshire designed an elegant, powder coated aluminium enclosure on legs and glazed with laminated glass. The interior was illuminated with LED lighting and lined with fine linen. A sliding, lockable tray enabled easy access.
