Conservation Board
For regular framing we use a high specification Conservation Board, which is laminated, acid free and buffered with calcium carbonate to guard against air-born pollution, maintaining both neutral environment and its colour throughout the lifetime of the board. With window mounts and where a thicker board is required we can employ 8 ply Conservation Board. We often use a 315gm Conservation paper to frame larger works this being available 2.4 metres wide. The Conservation Paper we use is laminated and buffered acid free with a full conservation specification.
