Alice Forward studied Fine Art at Hornsey School of Art in the late 70's.Then trained in documentary film making at the BBC. She was a first class degree in Ceramics in 2004 and organised Site- ations International in 2005. After a residency in Columbia she completed her MA in Cardiff in 2007. She currently works at Jackdaw Studios in Bristol. In 2009 she was chosen by Tom Trevor, director of the Arnolfini to win the Darbyshire Award 2009.
