Colin studied Art and Art History at Goldsmiths College, returning to the Stroud Valleys to take up a stance independent of prevailing trends. He completed his MA in Art History at Birkbeck College in 2001. He has worked as a creative consultant in the fashion world and as a project manager in the art world. He is currently reading for a Phd in the photographic documentation of art and the work of Ian Hamilton Finlay at the University of Bristol. He shows at SVA in Stroud, The Groucho Club in London, and has recently been part of 'Young and British' at the JGM Galerie, Paris.
