Colin Glen's work is concerned with the translations and displacements involved in relating the experience of finding an object to the associations of memory through its depiction.  His project attempts to discover more nuanced and intricate relationships between differing forms of practice and theory. In his work he makes references both to abstract expressionism and minimalism; conceptual art and arte povera.
