Darbyshire operate two purpose built art movement vehicles. a Sprinter and a Mercedes Atego 815 (7.5 tonne) which can carry a load up to 2.2 tonnes. The Mercedes has Air-Ride suspension and a heavy duty tail-lift and the cargo area is padded, with the option to use load-lock restraints or ties, therefore the use of packing cases is not always needed. For added security the vehicle is manned with a minimum of two technicians/drivers at all times.

We can deliver and collect to any destination within the UK, and operate a Cotswold to London vehicle 5 days a week.

Art movement is offered on either an exclusive or part load basis.

Exclusive: Where artwork must be collected/delivered on particular days to a prescribed schedule and timescale.

Part-load: Where there is flexibility on the date of movement of the art works and there are no restrictions on when the works can be collected/delivered. The volume of the artwork is also limited to enable it to be combined with other suitable/compatible loads.
